How to Use This Calculator
Log your monster hunts
Count significant encounters—griffins, wraiths, even the odd basilisk. The Continent is crawling with XP.
Include alchemy & upgrades
Potions, decoctions, and armor upgrades represent preparation—essential for witchers who survive the long winter.
Track downtime perks
Meditation and Gwent might seem leisurely, but they restore vitality and coin. They deserve XP too.
Formula
Total XP = Σ (Activity Count × Point Value)
Level ≈ floor(XP ÷ 50) + 1
Title determined by XP milestones (see chart)
Example: 12 monsters + 8 potions + 4 contracts + 10 Gwent wins + 3 upgrades + 15 meditation hours = 314 XP → Level 7, Seasoned Witcher.
Path of the Witcher
Balance swordplay with preparation and diplomacy. Every contract prep, Gwent hand, and meditation session makes you a folk legend.
- Collect mutagens and oils to boost future hunts.
- Keep coins handy for armorers; peak gear supports higher-level foes.
- Write letters or journal your travels—bards need source material.
- Remember to rest between hunts; even witchers need downtime at the Crossroads Inn.
