How to Use This Calculator
Collect raw points from each event
Use the official ACFT scoring tables to convert raw performance (reps, distances, times) into point values for each event.
Enter points and review status
Input the point value (0–100) for each of the six events. The calculator totals the score and checks if each event meets the 60-point minimum.
Plan improvements
Identify events below 60 or those that limit your total score. Adjust your training plan accordingly to meet Army standards.
Formula
Total Score = Σ (Event Points)
- Each ACFT event is scored from 0 to 100 points using official Army tables.
- A minimum of 60 points per event and 360 points overall is required to pass.
- No event substitution is allowed—failing any event results in test failure.
Full Description
The Army Combat Fitness Test measures full-body strength, power, agility, and endurance. The six events are the 3RM deadlift, standing power throw, hand-release push-up, sprint-drag-carry, plank, and two-mile run. Each event awards up to 100 points.
Soldiers must score at least 60 points in each event for a total of 360 points to meet baseline standards. Elevated unit or occupational requirements may apply. Use this calculator after consulting the official scoring tables to track progress toward your goals.
Frequently Asked Questions
Where do I find the official scoring tables?
Refer to the latest ACFT training circular (TC 3-22.20) or the Army Physical Readiness Training Center website for raw-to-point conversion tables.
What if I score below 60 on one event but still exceed 360 overall?
You must achieve at least 60 points in every event. A score below 60 on any event results in an overall failure.
Can I retake individual events?
Retest policies vary by unit. Typically, failing soldiers must retake the entire ACFT after remedial training.
Do different MOSs require higher scores?
Yes. Certain MOSs or units may set higher target scores for selection or retention. Confirm requirements with your leadership.
